In Elinor, adjacent marriages between peoples are not common. In the Ulutau state, the Celestial Plateau, they are absent altogether due to geographic features. Among the Chekatta or Vedichs theoretically, there could be marriages with foreigners from other lands, but the history does not know how such cases. In the Ito Empire, several cases of mixed marriages have been recorded. But when the outlanders from the South settled in the Empire, they still accepted its philosophy and Code (it was probably people who fled in the North from justice: it's hard to imagine a man fled to the Ito Empire of his own free will). Among the other four nations - Djunits, Guawars, Taurs and Mechanics, leading an intensified trade among themselves, mixed marriages happen much more often, but one still can not say that its usual. Peoples treat foreigners quite calmly, but it is still believed that a person should look for a couple for a family from their own nation. When concluding a “mixed” marriage, a foreigner adopts the laws of the state where the family was born. Among Guawars, a person becomes a Guawar at once lawfully, having joined the Costal Fellowship. The Djunits and Mechanics - over time, and not at the legislative level, but on the public, gradually merging into the culture of the state. Since in these states the Academy and the University play an enormous role, to a person who has not been trained in an institution, it is very difficult to occupy a high position in society. Finally, to Taurs the outlander will always remain such, but his children will be considered the Taurs (provided that the second member of the family is Taur). The largest number of half-bloods (which is logical) lives in the Valley of the Ancestors, where “mixed” marriages are quite common.
